Hi everyone! I’m so excited to share with you my new newsletter on Substack, The Mischief Maker.
I hope you will join me for videos, recipes, gardening tips, and more as I share my process as a sugar flower artist.
Monthly
The first week of each month will begin with the sculpting of a sugar flower. The bloom that I go by will be something that is cut and growing at that time from the garden.
My garden is pivotal to what I do with my sugar flowers. I need them to be growing, so I can cut and reference them for my sculpting and painting. Paid subscribers will get a monthly checklist of what to do in the garden at the start of each month, what veggies and fruits are in season that month, menu ideas, extra articles, and videos.
Weekly
Two articles will be released with YouTube videos.
There will be a video and recipe for one dessert released each Thursday and an after-dessert drink suggestion, too.
A classic cocktail video will be released every Monday to get us through the week.
When sugar flower cakes arise in the schedule, I will be taking you into my process. Every few months or so, we'll aim to do a larger dinner or party and show recipes and behind the scenes for those.
